Pilgriming in Mexico, the sacred desert

North Star. Remain grounded in my core principles.

Ejido Catorce, Mexico

...and there it was November 15th of 2024, time to depart into the unknown. Into the desert, where the wild dryland nature presents in Central Mexico, in state of San Luis Potosi. Allowing my intution to guide me, the solitude to remind me of how important surrendering with nature is. Hummingbirds chirping throughout the day, butterflies opening their wings from an early rise, Yucca trees and cacti spread across the landscape of the desert. Coyotes vowing in the dark as the starts sparkle in the sky, magic was simply everywhere.

This pilgriming journey was exactly what my inner-self wanted to witness; the North Star to be nurtured into the wilderness. As reflecting and contemplating on year 2024, I have been longing for a sense of safety and protection, and living in the city of Phoenix I couldn't find that comfort, unless I drove up to Sedona. In the desert of Mexico, I was able to completely surrender bare on the ground, trust the process of flowering in the high frequency of the sacred space. Even during in the midst of dusty winds, as some similarty of Mad Max movies scenes, I felt guardianship. Feeling the love and smiles of the Wirikuta's family, the ladies cooking fresh corn tortillas for fifty of us, tents spread out, very quickly we built a tribe in the center of the Universe. Within six days, began as strangers from all over the world, we created an orchestra. Without electricity, without showers, the fire at night was mystical and present with all of us, feeling enlighten, seeing ancestry signs of wisdom and I can go on...

This experience showed me clearly that regardless of how much money is in our bank, the cars we drive, the brand we wear, it ultimately doesn't matter. What truly counts is the health of our hearts, where is our attention given, how are we nurturing our essence?

So question arises as writing this journal; how are you cultivating your life's purpose?

During the night ceremonies and rituals, the Maraakame of this pilgrimage served as our mentor, and his tribe family was guiding us with openness of singing cosmic voice and dancing around the fire. Maraakame is know as shaman who holds knowledge of the fire and cultural ceremonies and rituals of the Wirikuta tribe. We were guided to hike three sacred sites, with offering handmade gifts, along with praying, setting intentions, fasting, cacti, which all played a significant role in this process of my spiritual journey.

I have a calling, to get in touch with my ancestors, to restore peace with people of my roots, all people of this Earth. Perhaps, a lot more to learn in depth of celebrating and inner-standing about intentional living. It almost feels like I am returning to recreate the balance between the light and the dark. One without another does not exist, and at times all I want is dance...

As the pilgriming journey was coming to an end, felt this wind breeze and voice, I could continue for few more days. The sixth night, as last night of this journey, before everyone's departure to apart ways, we celebrated in a beautiful restaurant in the mountains of Real De Cartoce. Hotel was accommodated for all us to freshen up and get a good night sleep. Some of the people were continuing their ceremonial path in different areas of Mexico, and some of us had to return to our staples. I had time to exprole one more day in Mexico City, and Museum of Anthropology left me breathless and in bigger curiosity. Got a little lost as walking through the streets of downtown. Connect with local artist, boutique owners, cafes, as the humblest of the city just marked me with wow symmetry, creative balance and inspiration. Inner voice, I shall return soon...

Today dear readers, Merry Christmas to those that celebrate, celebrate Born Day of Christ, who is part of us, celebrate you on this day as Holy, with joy, close family and hot cacao. If for some reason you are alone today, but not lonely, that is okay. Use is as a day to reflect, step in nature, do one thing that sparks the heart, light a candle to set pure intentions...

Much love and blissing,
